Platte County is not zoned, therefore, unless you live within 2 miles jurisdiction of a 1st class City (Columbus) or within the 1-mile jurisdiction of a village or 2nd class city, there are no County zoning requirements. Within a city or village’s jurisdiction – contact the City or Village. If the property is within a designated floodplain or floodway area, please refer to the floodplain administrator site for an application for a permit.
